The New Planning Program: Let’s work together towards a sustainable, resilient and inclusive Pointe-Claire

The City of Pointe-Claire is in the process of reviewing its Planning Program. As part of this process, the City wishes to place the citizen at the heart of its approach. Each participation activity is preceded by the publication of an information sheet, available in the Documents section of the platform. The information sheet allows people to learn about the theme discussed during the workshop. It concludes with the publication of an activity report. 

The first three citizen participation activities focused on the following themes:

• Mobility;
• Land use and mixed-use urban planning;
• The form of the built environment and strategies for transforming the built environment.

In order to hear from a greater number of citizens, the City is also holding online participation activities on the Pointe-Claire, It’s Who We Are platform. This survey is available until September 29, 4 p.m.

The first online citizen participation activity is on the importance of mobility.

 Revision of the Planning Program: Collaborative workshop on Wednesday, March 15

The citizen collaborative workshop on the transformation process of the built environment is now full. If you still wish to participate, we invite you to register on the waiting list.

To be involved in and stay informed on each step of the consultation process, we invite you to subscribe to this platform and to the project. Become an active and involved contributor in the revision of the planning program and by-laws !

Note that this reservation is valid for one person only. Each person wishing to participate must register individually. 

The Planning Department and the members of the City Council have developed a vision for land use and development. This vision, which proposes 10 statements, is one of the elements that will guide the working groups for the development of the City's future planning program.

We invite the citizens of Pointe-Claire to read the ten statements, and choose three statements that you consider to be the priorities for the development of our City. You can also share your comments. Fill out the form before March 31, 2023.
